20Twenty, has retained its Quality Assured seal, an award presented by the Malta Tourism Authority every two years to only those Maltese destination management companies (DMC’s) that are committed to high levels of quality, consistency and professionalism when organising meetings, conferences, incentives & other events on the Maltese Islands on behalf of overseas clients. To attain this seal, the DMC’s must be fully compliant to satisfy the criteria covering several areas including, stability, public liability, insurance cover, years in operation, staff education and training, sales procedures, client feedback and ultimately an audit performed by the Malta Tourism Authority. Ivan Mifsud, Managing Director of 20Twenty was presented the QA certificate valid till January 2017 by the MTA CEO Mr. Paul Bugeja at the Award Ceremony which was held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre last Wednesday 25th February 2015.

What does all this mean and what benefits are derived from choosing a quality assured destination management company based on the Maltese Islands?

The seal acts as a pledge that offers you extra peace of mind when organising your event in Malta since the Malta Tourism Authority only certifies those operators which fully meet all the scheme’s criteria. This is a guarantee that the event is in competent and professional hands. Furthermore, a good reason to select a Quality Assured DMC is further strengthened by the fact that the criteria covered by the scheme are aimed at protecting the client and guaranteeing customer satisfaction, such as the following requirements met by 20Twenty and which contributed towards securing again the Quality Assured Seal. 20Twenty:

  1. Has a €2,000,000 Ground Operator cover (which is double the minimum required) issued by an American insurance company. All key suppliers are vetted to ensure that they too have adequate insurance coverage.
  2. Is a financially sound company, specialising in MICE services and is a member of recognised associations such a DMCD and SITE.
  3. Staff is provided with initial and continuous training.
  4. Requests are acknowledgement within 24 hrs and proposals sent within 72 hrs.
  5. During scheduled events, at least one member of 20Twenty is available 24 hours a day.
  6. Is recommended by both previous clients and local suppliers who assure us of their testimonial when required.
