What makes us unique!
There are DMCs and DMCs. DMC stands for ‘destination management company’ but in some cases, it stands for ‘dull management companies’ who dish out the same grovel. 20twenty is a DMC that loves making waves and cutting mustard. We dare to be different and often, the first in creating truly unique experiences in the destinations in which we operate, namely: Malta, Gozo and Algeria.
Recently, we made arrangements for 350 international press journalists from virtually all four corners of the world, to experience Strait Street, Valletta’s former red-light district turned into a local hotspot. Food stalls were set up and offered delegates mouth-watering Maltese finger food while they immersed themselves into the local scene. This was not all. We also arranged a private visit to one of the oldest working Theatres in Europe, the magnificent Manoel Theatre, commissioned and financed by the Grand Master Manoel de Vilhena in 1731. The guests were greeted by the Mayor of Valletta, Professor Alexei Dingli, the Theatre artistic Director, Mr Kenneth Zammit Tabone and the Chairman of V18 (Valetta European Cultural Capital – 2018), Mr Jason Micallef. Each welcomed the IFA guests to Valletta and gave a short presentation of cultural initiatives that are being taken to put Valletta high up on the international cultural map.
We love our work, and we leave no stone unturned to make things happen perfectly and seamlessly. Our 20twenty destination experts are a creative team from different backgrounds that give the company an international outlook. Collectively we speak eight languages but also importantly we speak one language – that of our client.
Our name epitomises this: 20twenty vision that brings our clients’ ideas to life. 20twenty also subtly implies that our work get 20 out of 20 marks, i.e. full marks. The late Steve Jobs said “the only way to do great work is to love what you do”…and we do.
